At an elevation of 2,250 m, start your journey either with a scenic flight to Skardu or a road adventure along the Karakoram Highway to Chilas (10–12 hours). Settle into your hotel, unwind, and breathe in the excitement of the days ahead.
Still at 2,250 m, the day invites exploration. Fly-in guests can marvel at Kharpocho Fort, the serene Manthal Buddha Rock, and Sadpara Lake, with optional visits to Upper Kachura Lake or Broq—and time for some last-minute shopping. If travelling by road, you'll continue from Chilas to Skardu (7–8 hours), taking in stunning mountain views along the way.
Rise to 3,100 m on a breathtaking 6-hour jeep journey through Shigar and Braldu Valleys to Askole—the final village before your trek truly begins. Camp beneath the stars, where mountain air and village warmth merge.
Climb to 3,200 m over 17.5 km in about 5–6 hours. Cross arid terrain before camping near Jhola beside the roaring Braldu River, with views of Biafo Glacier and Bakhor Dass Peak (5,809 m)—a gentle yet exciting start to your high-altitude adventure.
Ascend to 3,600 m across 18.8 km in 7–8 hours through Bardumal Valley. At the end, rest in a tranquil, green camp with the majestic Broad Peak (8,051 m) as your silent companion.
Reach 4,000 m after 13 km in about 5 hours, stepping onto the immense Baltoro Glacier. Imagine camping surrounded by surreal landscapes and the towering Trango Towers (6,251 m)—nature’s grandeur at its finest.
Climb to 4,240 m over 8.1 km in 4–5 hours. Camp on glacier terraces with jaw-dropping views of Biale Peak (6,729 m) and the Trango Group—a perfect setting to feel humbled by nature’s scale.
Climb to 4,500 m over 11.6 km in about 6 hours, hiking across icy terrain. camp at Goro-II, surrounded by the powerful beauty of Gasherbrum IV and Masherbrum. The quiet and the cold only deepen the sense of wonder.
Ascend to 4,687 m after 12.9 km in roughly 6 hours. Arrive at Concordia, where four 8,000 m giants—K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II, Chogolisa—stand guard around you. This is trekking’s holy grail.

At 5,050 m, trek a 17.2 km round trip over 7 hours to stand in the shadow of K2 itself. Visit the poignant Gilkey Memorial and return to Concordia, carrying memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Descend to 4,020 m over 18.5 km in 7–8 hours. Leave footprints on the glacier one last time, glancing back at the soaring giants as you lower in altitude.
Hike 6 hours back to 4,000 m via Urdukas. As the landscape shifts, let the changing views of the glacier soothe and inspire you.
Descend to 3,253 m over 7–8 hours. Camp among willow and poplar trees beside a crystal stream—a lush, lively sanctuary contrasting beautifully with the icy trails earlier in your journey.
Reach 3,100 m in 7–8 hours. Today marks the end of trekking—time to celebrate with your porters, reminisce on your journey, and share heartfelt goodbyes.
